  • Good internet connectedness.
  • File sizes that tin can be backed up.  Your files won't be backed upward if they are:
    • Photos larger than 200 MB or 150 MP
    • Videos larger than 10 GB.
    • Items smaller than 256 x 256.
  • File types that can be backed upwards.
    • Photos: .jpg, .heic, .png, .webp, .gif, and some RAW files.
    • Live photos tin can be backed up if you employ the Google Photos app on your iPhone or iPad.
    • Videos: .mpg, .mod, .mmv, .tod, .wmv, .asf, .avi, .divx, .mov, .m4v, .3gp, .3g2, .mp4, .m2t, .m2ts, .mts, and .mkv files.

There are two ways to back up your phone, camera, or storage carte du jour from your figurer:

  1. Install Backup and Sync.
  2. Upload photos from your browser.

Ready Google Drive for desktop

  1. On your reckoner, download and install Google Bulldoze for Desktop.
  2. Sign in to your Google Account.

Important:

Select a different upload size

Support your Apple Photo Library (Mac simply)

Upload items to Google Photos from your browser

  1. On your computer, open up photos.google.com.

  3. Find and select your photos.
  4. Click Open.

You can also elevate photos from your computer to the album to upload them to Google Photos. If y'all drag a photo to a specific album, the photograph volition be uploaded to that anthology.
